First try straightening my hair myself. I think I am going to the salon this week-end and getting the product the stylist used.

It is naturally curly.

I think some of it, honestly, it because I have pretty much zero idea how to use it.

Oh, I should try that! I can't believe that didn't occur to me, especially since I get a lot of make-up videos from there.

My hair turns out like this often when I use a round brush. I also have naturally curly hair. The only way to avoid it is to get the hair well into the brush, blow it with HOT air, then let it cool before removing the brush.

I have to pull the brush through a little while cooking it as well. :)

A good smoothing product will help a lot. Right now I'm using Aquage. http://www.aquage.com/Default.aspx?tabid=73

There are many good ones out there though.

I am definitely going to get something better than what I used yesterday. The stylist recommended something by Bedhead and I think that's what I'll go with. I also need to find my big barreled curling iron to flip the ends a bit.
