Dizzy

All right, world, you could stop twirling around me at any time. I'm sure this is somehow karmic retribution for getting in the gyroscope at the fair or dragging Steven on rollercoasters, but enough is enough. I feel like I'm going to fall off the couch.

I'm not sure if this is from the prednisone or it's from fluid behind my ears still, but damn... I have never been this dizzy in my life.

Dang, girl! Enough's enough. I'm so sorry you've been this sick, and for so long.

Prednisone can definitely make you dizzy, and if it's bad you need to tell your doctor right away. I'm lighting a candle, and keeping you in my thoughts. Be well ♥

I am so done with this cold, you know? Aside from the unholy dizziness, though, I am finally feeling mostly human again.

I'm definitely ringing her tomorrow. She had me taking them once a day, rather than the usual pack configuration, and on a double dose (so 6 for 2 days, etc). I'm wondering if that's compounding it.

The upside is tomorrow is my last day of antibiotics.

Is it labyrinthitis?

I'm not sure. The doctor said I had fluid behind my ear drums and that was mostly likely the cause of my original dizziness. I've had problems with dizzy spells in the past, but it seemed to be related to low blood pressure.

I'm going to ask her, though, because this isn't something I can live with.
