Date: 2008-08-04 05:33 am (UTC)I actually found seeing the globe quite humbling. This was the first time I'd ever been to NYC so I had no concept, really, of the WTCs or the scale. We walked past the footprints and, until I saw the globe, I couldn't wrap my head around the whole concept of it. The damage was unreal.
