...Wow...

Damn. LED lights are bright.

All our Christmas lights (including the ones we bought for the wedding last year) seem to have gotten broken during the move, so Ma and I ventured to Le Target and then Sprawl-Mart in search of new lights. I decided to suck it up and spring for the new LED ones and wow... They are something else. We put 300 on our Christmas Shrubbery which is like half the recommended amount and it's better than our 9010 strands of regular mini-lights.

Mr. I Have A Degree In Lighting Design actually got the lights up in one shot without any gaps and almost 0 swearing, which is a vast improvement from last year.

I still have laryngitis and I sound like Jeremy the Squeaky Voiced Teen from The Simpsons. Makes for good times at school. It's been like this for going on for a week now.

We're getting the ornaments from Ma's tomorrow. We're going to the Mall tomorrow after school so she can buy me new pants because all my pants are too big. Though potentially, I might have some pants that were a little too small before, so maybe after this, I'll go see if I can dig them out. Most likely, no one really needs to look at my tattoos all day.

Chase calls our local Wal-Mart "Neck-Mart" because of all the rednecks. :D

Ours is actually really, really ghetto because it's close to Brockton-- my inlaws shop there. I think I'd take the rednecks over the ghetto fabulous.

Mr. I Have A Degree In Lighting Design ...

that's funny. ;)

Also, this is random, but I love how you say "Ma", too. Lots of folks usually write "Mom". :)

It's either Ma or Mum, situation dependent. Though I sound like I'm saying Mahr when I say it because of my accent. The kids at school are highly amused by it, at least.

Seriously, he said that to me the first year we were together. Apparently my amateur light-stringing was not up to his fancy-schmancy degree holding skills, so I sit and drink while he struggles. It is a good thing.

It was so miserable yesterday. I specifically hate the one we went to.

We got the whole redneck thing going on here as well. Of course their of the chicken fried variety. Then again one of the funniest things I've ever seen at WM was the night I went in and there before me were six of those motorized chairs all lined up as if on an airport tarmac awaiting clearance for take off into the bowels of the store itself. I wish I could have taken a pic of that as well as the open mouth breathing redneck standing not to far away who had the same wtf feeling I was getting from the whole site.

We have the ghetto fab kind here. I especially love the kids from the upper middle class towns who hang out there thinking they're tough. You're not cool if you're loitering at Wal-Mart.

Wal*Mart ruffians? Who'd have thunk it possible. The thought of being attacked by a wannabe thug weilding a bag of Ol'Roy dog food is funny as hell.

That would be hysterical. Nah, they mostly just stand around and pose... It's funny when some of them recognize me from class, though, and forget to be cool for a minute.

If given no other choice, yes. I actually really like the Target in Framingham. It's a huge store and they have a good selection. I don't really miss working in Natick except for that and EO Noodle on Rte 9.

Yay new job! I hope you get it!

You're totally welcome to stop by any day except the week-end of the 29th, since that's the week-end of the funeral. I have it like 85% decorated. Too bad I still need to do the rest of the house.

You ever coming back to school, miss? It's quiet without you.
