Didn't feel up to posting yesterday. I had a really bad day. Today's been better, I guess. I'm posting family photos from over the years.



      

I'll probably post tomorrow. We're meeting with the priest this Saturday about the Mass, we need to pick out music and readings, and I need to work on whatever eulogy I'm going to be reading. This week will suck.

Again I have to say that your Grandmother is stunning. Those pictures of her in her wedding dress are absolutely gorgeous! I have never seen pictures of either of my grandmothers' weddings (they probably didn't have any, both getting married in teh 30s as they did).

It sounds as though you were amazingly blessed to have her in your life. How is your Grandfather handling things?

He's having ok days and bad ones. He said it's worst in the evening, after we've called and he's fed the cat and there's just ...quiet... It's been hard for him to want to talk to Ma or me on the phone, as well, since we both sound like Gramma. He's been talking to Steven a lot though.

It's funny, her photog actually put her wedding photo in the window of his studio to advertise. She and my great-grandmother were walking in Providence and did a double take.

I've seen bridal portraits from teens and 20s. Maybe your parents have some stashed away somewhere?
