I'm sick. Again. What sucks is I totally didn't realize it and that in itself is kind of pathetic. I got up around 1pm, after going to bed around half past 1 in the morning. I took some cold medicine and figured I'd take a little nap around 3. I woke up at 7. I guess I wasn't feeling well! That was my day.
Somewhere in the course of those 4 odd hours sleeping on the couch, I messed up my shoulder. It probably popped out while I was laying on it and stayed out which strained my rotator cuff... which is now making my life a living hell because I forget it hurts, move it, and then whimper like a wounded animal. I did the same thing about a year ago, so I'll probably do the same thing I did then: put it in a sling and not use it for a day or two. I blame all that frakking calligraphy I did.
I finally used our french press today. We've only had it for two years. I made rooibos jasmine since I can't make it in anything else because it's constantly full of leaves. I brewed it a little too strong, but it was pretty good and no one had to chew it to drink it this time. I'm going to try coffee in it over the week-end, I think. I need to buy some non-craptastic coffee. I know Steven likes the Chockful O' Nuts, but it's kind of icky. My mum definitely spoiled me by always having Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and later Starbucks in the house.
Steven and I went to Whitmans Pond to feed the birdies yesterday after Elliott went home since feeding our porch birds isn't enough. Plus, we had stale bread. Why toss it when we can feed the polluting and overfed swans? The cygnets are getting so big now. They're still a bit grey, but they're almost the size of Mum and Dad.
It has taken me an hour to type this and there is a moth in the lap next to me that's driving me bananas.

Those are my $5.99 pants, by the way. More photos in my scrapbook.
