I went out with Erin to Starbuck's today and had their peppermint mocha. It was really, really good, but I should have asked for it decaf and I had forgotten. Stupid me. It was definitely tasty, though.

I haven't seen Erin since we went out for coffee in October as a study break. I guess that's part of getting older. I never see anyone with any regularity anymore. Either I'm busy or they are. We made tenative plans to catch up with her, her boyfriend, and her stepson this week-end. The kids get on quite well, so it would be nice to get them together. We also made vague plans to have them over for dinner one night, as well.

Now I'm officially an adult. We're having dinner parties.

I'm going to kill the neighbours. They're yelling at each other and they're damned loud. These are the same ones who called the cops on us when we watching Shaft the other day, saying it sounded like a domestic disturbance. This is the same asshole who wouldn't let the maintenance guy in when our ceiling was leaking. This is the same asshole who bitched that, when we were cooking corn without the husks on low on our grill, yelled that it smelled like we were burning "the whole fucking place down". I think he's a serial killer.

We're going to see Phantom of the Opera tonight at the movies. It'll either be good or horrible, but I really want to see it. We've been trying to get there since Christmas Day. It was too crowded then and yesterday there was a huge blizzard. We actually got 13" of snow. Mmph.

Wow, I'm really hungry all of a sudden. I should pest Steven into cooking dinner.

I did and got shells, sauce, and a promise for movie popcorn.

We've actually got movie passes, so we're essentially seeing the movie for free. I love the book and the musical, so I am totally, totally looking forward to seeing it. I'm glad to know you liked it. That gives me hope, since I was a little nervous about how it would convert to film.
