I'm a techno-idiot today it seems. Does anyone know if there's a way to get music on my MP3 player back onto my computer? I'm sure there is but what can I say? I haven't slept much in days; my brain is fairy floss.

What brand of MP3 player do you have? I'm assuming by the tag's name, it's an iPod. iPods won't let you move music off them through iTunes, but you can if you download some free third-party software, like iDump. I've never used that particular application, since I use a Mac and therefore a Mac-only app, but it's the highest-rated free iPod ripper on download.com, so it's probably pretty good.

I think mine's actually a Creative. It was a little cheaper than the iPod. Think iDump would still work?

No, sorry. If it's not an iPod, iPod/iTunes software shouldn't work on it right. I really have no idea how to help you with any other MP3 player. :/
