ARGH!

I am most assuredly breaking up with both Battlestar and the Patriots. Not that the Patriots and I really had any kind of thing going on, but we're definitely through. How do you blow an 18 point lead and Tom Brady throws like a girl. And the end of the game... Holy muffin, if they were going to play like that, they definitely deserved to lose. I'm now going to root for Da Bears in the Superbowl since I have zero loyalty to any team.

And Battlestar... oh, Battlestar. Ron Moore is earning a special place in hell because all he does is screw with me. And stupid Anders needs sleeves. You're not impressing anyone with the tattoo and that cut up sweatshirt is just annoying. And for God's sake, get a haircut. I know there are clippers on the ship. If they have space noodles and chopsticks, they have clippers. All of Lee's stupid fluffy hair in 3.0 seems to have migrated to Anders's head for 3.5.

Someone also needs to tell the writers to understand that the whole star crossed lovers thing was done to death in sophomore year when we all had to read Romeo and Juliet. Just go and let Starbuck and Apollo get over themselves and go make pretty, pretty babies. Dee is annoying and I demand she be killed off. And see my above note: get Anders a new damn shirt. Better yet, give him Dee and bring Bil-LEH back so they can have the triangle of awkward acting. And then the Commander can make all nice with Roslin and someone will give Helo a pat on the head and then I can die very happy.

So yea, breaking up with Battlestar till I go crawling back next week.

I'm through two of my cigars: the Belicoso and the Robusto. I was not at all impressed with the Robusto. It had a strange, bitter aftertaste, the smoke was acrid and not pleasant, and burnt unevenly. It smelled okay out of the wrapper, but not as good as it could have. On the whole, it was a very average cigar, not the worst I've had, but no where near the best. On the other had, the house smelled nice; far better than the cigar itself.

The Belicoso was nice in comparison. It was very mild and fairly flavourful. Steven didn't care too much for it, but it was a good cigar to start out with. It actually did make me cough a little, which was funny considering the stronger Robusto didn't. It smelled very pleasant right out of the wrapper. I don't know. Again, good, but nothing to write home about.

I keep meaning to order a couple Partagas, which was what my grandfather recommended. I should do that eventually.

I have a million things I need to do tomorrow. I have to go to the bank and deposit my cheque, make a few calls, and find out where the hell the package I allegedly had the other day went. I think I also wanted to go to BJ's and buy bulk Pop Tarts. There might've been something else I wanted to do, but damned if I can remember that, either. Probably buy stamps and finish my Thank Yous.

So yea, that was my week-end.

Be warned, it will eat your soul. I held out till last season, but Steven's watched it since the mini-series. http://www.battlestarwiki.org/ can catch you up pretty quickly and I'm full of biased opinions.

There are so many awesome characters on the serious. Wait till you see Doc Cottle.
