Christmas Survey
Nov. 27th, 2006 10:39 pm1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Both please.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa wraps and decorates the bejeezus out of everything. We have a kid, so Santa always checks with me on the kind of wrapping paper, so all the pressies look different.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Coloured lately, white on the porch.
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Yes, but it's plastic, from the 70s, and up year round.
5. When do you put your decorations up?
First or second week of December before the kidlet's birthday.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Sweet potato anything.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
Going to my grandparents to avoid the Annual Family Fight, wherein my father would start an argument halfway through pressies because he wanted to go skiing, even though no one cared if he went and generally were happier when he was gone.
8.When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I totally played it up when I was like 4 because I thought my parents still believed and I didn't want to spoil it for them.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Nope, just our stockings.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree?
Some vintage glass ornaments from my grandparents and a million of Steven's Star Wars ones, as well as a few of my granddaughter ones.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
Bah.. If it were warm and stayed off the road, I'd like it better.
12. Can you ice skate?
Yes.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
My Samantha doll from American Girls Co. when I was 8.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
