First day of my back-to-the-real-world vacay was uneventful. Tried to catch up with Erin, but there was something funky going on with her phone and all I got all day was a busy signal. So, in light of that, I slept until noon, watched finding Nemo, and chatted with Laura. I had no ambition to really do much of anything today. It was all gross and rainy outside and I just could not get up the energy. I barely managed to get into the shower before I had to pick Steven up.

Speaking of, we just sort of relaxed today. After I picked up Steven from school, we went out to lunch at the Rock Bottom with Chad and his friend, Chris. Chad regaled us with tales from his 7 day bender. Always a good time. If you have one near you, I tried the Five Malt Alt. It wasn't too bad, though it was not as good some of the other beers I've had there. Steven had the Scotch Beer, which I know what better, but they can't put it in a pint glass and it's trés cher. Maybe next time I go there, I'll try it if they still have it. Also had the Brewer's lunch, which made me kind of queasy. The chili was fine, but the sandwich just sort of bothered me. Ergo, that's all I've eaten today, other than the bowl of chicken noodle soup I just ate a bit ago. It's usually really good, too, which was kind of disappointing. Oh well.

After that, like the awful old people we are, we came home and took an hour and a half nap. I slept till noon and I still needed the nap. This cold I've had is still doing me in. Post-nap, we zipped over to Petco, Kicthens Etc, and Victory. Nothing really grand at the latter two. I'm looking to get a Mr. Chocolate, since I spend so much on buying hot cocoa in the cooler months, but I guess Kicthens Etc doesn't carry them. This is odd, because I thought they had the whole Mr. Coffee-Ms. Tea line, but I guess not. This means that I'll have to go to Linens N Things over the week-end to get some prices. I suppose I could also hit Target, as well. Ooh, I should remember to check and see if they have one in Natick, since I know Steven wanted to go down there and see Olaf the Watchman about his pocket watch. Way to have a brain.

We spent the rest of the night grading papers for school tomorrow. It took something like 3 1/2 hours. Very, very dull.

Mm, DeLonghi coffee pots are the bee's knees. We just got one a couple weeks ago and it makes fab coffee. I've actually be able to drink a couple cups from it and not have a caffiene overload. Christ, I miss coffee.

If anyone loves me, they should buy me something from here. I need things from here. If you legitimately would like to gift things to me, email me and I'll send you my info and some token of my love. ^_^
