Ugh

$400 is not an acceptable budget for one pair of shoes. Why does Anthropologie have to have such adorable, vintage styled shoes? My bigger question, though, is did 80s fashion really, really need to come back? Who do those skinny jeans look good on, really?

I admit, I kind of like footless tights, though.

I still feel like hell. I hate msy kidneys right now. I guess I owe Isabella an apology for blaming her for the lousy cramps I've had for the last couple months.

It got really chilly today. Yesterday was lovely and warm and today? Autumn, through and through. I stayed in most of the day until after Steven got home. We hit up Derbyville today so I could buy cheap dye from the Brooks. We ended up dropping in on the wine shop there because there was a free wine tasting. We found a couple we liked, a fume blanc and something called Pillar Box Red that had great blackberry undertones. Under $15 as well. We had Coldstone Creamery for dinner before we went to the magical land of Bread & Circus for bread. Steven and I are the worst parents ever because we bought bread with visible grains in it. That's punishment in and of itself. Steven bought ground hamburg and we came home.

My bank card still has not arrived. I called and groused today and they said it went out a week ago. They probably sent it to the same place again.

I can't wait till the Target here opens.

I am so scared of the leggings and skinny jeans. My friend and I went shopping last weekend and we were frightened by seeing all of our middle school fashions back in the stores.
I used to have footless tights and they had lace around the ankles. I thought they were pretty cute. I also saw leg warmers being sold at Fashion Bug. I only had a pair of those in kindergarten that my mom made me wear underneath dresses when it was cold. I always took them off and hid them in my backpack.
We went to Coldstone last night. It was so good.

I used to wear legwarmers to ballet and skating lessons! Actually, I kind of wish Hyper Colour shirts would come back. Those were cool.

I've been buying the capri length footless tights and I broke down and bought a pair of leggings. I refuse to wear them in public, though.

I never had a Hyper Color shirt. I only had a generic one that didn't really change colors very well. My friend Ryan had Hyper Color socks that were pretty neat.
As long as you don't wear the leggings in public you are ok. :)
I am just scared about the leggings because my very overweight SILS just stopped wearing them in the past year or so and now they will break them out again. The cellulite scares me since they both wear white or cream ones.

Ugh, white leggings! Also in my defense, mine are black.

Black are much better. My friend just told me that she has a pair left from middle school that she wears under her pants when it is really cold.
I love your icon! At first I thought I was seeing things. :)

Coldstone Creamery = love!

There was one in Manhattan, but Salina does not have one. Probably good for my waistline, however. :)

I'd be so fat if they were cheaper.

Meh, and they look way to thin. My friend Jenna and I were discussing that. You either look ginormous or too thin in them.

I told Steven about visiting the Vineyards when we come out to Cali some day and I think he's ready to have your babies.

I still owe you an email. Why do I suck so much today?

Hold the phone! (eeek did I say that?) VISIBLE GRAIN?! To the corner with you, BAD BAD parents.

That's the reaction I get from D when I buy that....

"uh uh it takes funny... and it's got chewy things in it..."

We had the hugest laugh over it when I bought it. Mr. White Bread will not be pleased.

Fortunately Tyler could care less. I've been buying only WHOLE grain bread for 2 years and D still bitches.. and if I send him for bread even after 2 years he always brings back the 54 cents a loaf white bread crap. Seriously... it's completely useless empty calories... no one should eat it. The easiest way to get a little extra fiber and whole grain is to change your bread.....AH I could scream at him sometimes lol.
