I forgot to mention this last night. I now know the real reason why Steven's marrying me. It's not because I'm really cool or he loves me or anything like that... Steven is marrying me because I can fix a toilet with a wire coat hanger.

Two and a half years living here and we still do not own a plunger. I did register for one, though.

Depends on what kind of blockage and how far in it is, but I straighten it and loosen or fish out whatever's clogging. Very, very useful with a small child who uses lots of toilet paper.

I wish you lived closer. I need to have you teach me how to fix toilets with a coat hanger. One of our toilets was recently broken for three weeks, but thankfully the FIL fixed it. I couldn't figure it out since it is a fairly new toilet. I have only managed to fix old toilets.

It's pretty easy. Mostly you just shove around still you find the stuck bit. Living closer would be really nice, though.
