We're home for the snow day and have slept until damn near noon. So, now we're up, watching the news, and look at all our friends' away messages which are talking about digging out.
So, we're talking about one friend (who is a year or so older than me) and how his father is 70, so it makes sense said friend would be doing the shoveling.
I remark on how his father is older than mine, which is pretty unusual, considering I generally tend to have the oldest father of anyone I know, age related (he was 40 when I was born). So now Steven is trying to figure out if his father was as old as Chad.
He based it on the fact that Chad is a little bit older than me, which therefore meant Chad was his age.

Steven and I are 9 years apart. Chad is 8 years younger than him. He forgot how old I was, completely. Not only that, but he lost his ability to add because, even if Chad was the same age as him, his father would still be 5 years older than Steven's.
