9.9.99, plus two years

devilgrrlIt's been a while since I updated, mainly because there's not a lot going on in my life, right now. This whole month is going to be about waiting... waiting for school to begin, waiting for Matt to get off from work, waiting for orders to come, waiting to go to work and have it be over, waiting for payday... Everything is waiting. It feels like even fall is waiting to begin. It was 80 degrees today. I'm not complaining because, as much as I like autumn, I am not a huge fan of winter.
I'm having a bitch of a time getting Diaryland pages to load, for some reason. I hope I'll be able to post this.
I'm finishing up some shopping for school on Delia*s. I broke down and became a member of their Discount Domain, since it's only $5 a month. My next step is to, hopefully, join up here at Diaryland.
I actually cooked today. How exciting is that? I managed to whip together some really good lo mein out of leftover spagetti, some chinese sausage, water chesnuts, bamboo shoots, some portobella mushrooms, an egg, and this awesome sesame ginger marinade. We had it for lunch and dinner. Evidently, I'm a fairly good cook. Who would have thought?
I would really like a pair of knee socks. I don't wear a lot of short skirts, but still... Those would be cool.
I just had a scary thought. Two years ago today was 9-9-99. Crazy. I can't believe two years have blown by so fast. I don't know... It's like everything is same same same same and then, BOOM! Everything has changed, leaving you scratch your head, thinking "What the eff?"
No one is IMing right now. Kir is on, AJ is on, Alicia is on... I'm not bored much.
I'm just rambling now. I'm going to go and finish up working on my order and try and get some sleep.
