I usually don't even like the people in the fitting room commenting on my clothes because you knowwww they have to say nice things about it, so it always comes off as totally disingenuine/borderline sarcastic to me. I'll put on some ill-fitting top in an unflattering color and it's "OMIGOD SERSLEY. SERSLEY. THAT IS SEW. KEWT. SERSLEY. YOU SHOULD GET THAT LIKE. NOW." Yeah, you work here. Of course you want me to get that.
I'm skinny and skinny jeans just don't look good on me, IMO. I tried with a pair or two and inevitably they would either be way too baggy at the top and get the Mom Pants look, or they'd be really short and too skinny at the cuff and look like I got the wrong size :/
