sandalwood--love the fragrance...is my signature fragrance, sometimes blended with amber
kittens---how can you not love this?
haloumi cheese---one of the lesser known Greek cheeses. Per wiki...
"Halloumi (Greek: χαλλούμι, Turkish: Hellim) is a cheese indigenous to Cyprus. It is traditionally made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, although some halloumi can be bought that also contains cows' milk. The cheese is white, with a distinctive layered texture, similar to mozzarella, and has a salty flavour. It is stored in its natural juices with salt-water, and can keep for up to a year if frozen below −18 °C (0 °F) and defrosted to +4 °C (39 °F) for sale at supermarkets. It is often garnished with mint. The mint adds to the taste while some claim that it has natural anti-bacterial action that was traditionally helpful to increase the life of the cheese."
salmon---among my favourite fishees; halibut is close contender
genmai cha--the bestest and most awesome green tea ever (so long as you have a good blend and brew it right)
Again from wiki...
"Genmaicha (玄米茶, Genmaicha? "brown rice tea") is the Japanese name for green tea combined with roasted brown rice. It is sometimes referred to colloquially as "popcorn tea" because a few grains of the rice pop during the roasting process and resemble popcorn. This type of tea was originally drunk by poor Japanese, as the rice served as a filler and reduced the price of the tea; today it is consumed by all segments of society."
cooking---what can I say? I love to cook. I only wish I had more time, more money, and a husband who can look outside the meat and potatoes for dinner box.
