I'm so breaking up with Battlestar, probably for good. Figures this would be one of the better eps of the season, too.

If they bring Starbuck back, I might think about watching it again, but otherwise, I think I'm set. Battlestar needs Starbuck like the X-Files needed Mulder. Apollo has been verging on whiny and maudlin all season. His character growth has been completely stunted with Dee, kind of like how Starbuck's was stymied with Stupid!Anders.

I'm still sort of confused on what exactly Kara's destiny was. Was going out in a blaze of glory it? Not being afraid anymore? There's not way they could parley her into being the Dying Leader, since she didn't point them at all towards Earth. And Leoben wasn't really Leoben? Ugh.

Steven was suggesting that Lee might end up striking a deal with Caprica Six to find Kara, in a twist on the whole Hand of God thing from the original series. I'm hoping that they'll do that, but I'm wondering if the writers will do that or they think they're being all clever with killing off a main character. Yes, I realize good people die in war all the time, but this is television, not real life. Some of us like a little fantasy.

So yea, probably breaking up with Battlestar like I broke up with the X-Files. And now, my cranky ass is going to bed so I can get up at 6am.

I'm so utterly confused. I also can't figure out what Kara's destiny is supposed to be. That thing her mother was preparing her for was dying...wha??????????

I don't get it. I really don't fracking get it.

I actually loved Kara/Anders, but Lee/Dee drives me crazy.

Re: Dying leader--she did get the arrow from Caprica and bring it back to Cobalt, which was ultimately what pointed them to earth. Plus, she had seen the eye...
