Why I Win Today

I got up at 11 because the stupid fire alarm was blaring. They're testing all the buildings today, so we've already had to complain to the super that they can't just come in whenever because I'm going to be home. Read: I don't want to wake up to strange men in my house. They were supposed to come yesterday, but apparently that didn't happen, so I get to sit here all day waiting around. Fun.

I really win, though, because I was sitting around and all I could smell was cooking chicken and it smelled really good, which left me wondering who was cooking the chicken. Then I remembered. It was me. We're having Crockpot for dinner.

Plus, I slept funny and wrenched my neck really badly, so not only am I tired and grumpy, but I hurt.

Oh, and Happy Groundhog's Day.
