Hey Flisties. Now that I have fringe, I ever need to purchase a curling iron or a straightening iron. Does anyone know what would be better for straightening and curling my fringe under? I am not competent enough to do it with a round brush.

I'm terrible at doing my own hair, but if you want it to curl under, I'd suggest a curling iron. I use a straightening iron on my sweep bangs, and it absolutely doesn't curl them under.

The curling iron would do both for you in one shot... Usually straightening irons make everything TOO Straight if you're going for the curling under.

Just my experiences. The new do looks adorable by the way!

you can either use a large curling iron, or use a straightening iron and kind of flip them under.

i used to have a tool that was a two-fer. closed, it worked as a large curling iron. when you flipped a switch it opened and worked as a straitening iron. neither use was perfect, but it was kind of cool. the whole shebang was only about $20. maybe you could find one and decide which works best for you.

I have seen the 2 in 1 too. It looks like that would be the best thing for you.

A lot of times when the kids at work wake up (the girls, in particular) they want the staff to "do their hair" for them. I always tell the kids that if I did their hair, people would laugh at them. I always wear my hair down or in a pony tail. I never owned a barbie-head hair-styling thingie. I am not the person to ask ;-)

I just wrap my wet hair around a round brush and blast it with the hair dryer. I haven't had bangs for a few years so I don't know if I would work on your fringe, but I have done this on my hair when it was barely chin length and it worked.
