Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?

I originally knew Steven as my ex's boss and the bitch-manager of Northern Reflections's husband. When my ex finally introduced me to him, while he was picking up his ex from work, we got into an argument about something political and I assumed he was a giant asshole. He ended up hiring my ex back and I got to know him better because I asked to read to his son for a school project. Then, my ex volunteered me to help him move and the rest, as they say, is history.
