What a pity. It sounds like quite the disappointment.
We drove by the Berkshires on our way home from Maine on Sunday. We stopped in Stockbridge instead of Tanglewood, and walked around for a bit-- checked our Norman Rockwell Museum, Red Lion Inn, etc.
