1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? I got married.

2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I perpetually resolve to sleep more and have more sex.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? My sister got pregnant with her long awaited second child.

4. Did anyone close to you die? No

5. What countries did you visit?  None, unless Maine counts.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? A little more money would be nice. Less strife.

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory? 12/29/06 is the one I want to remember. Also 9/20/06.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Pulling off our wedding.

9. What was your biggest failure? I can't think of one.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I had bronchitis in October and came down with the flu on Sunday, on our honeymoon. I win.

11. What was the best thing you bought? I was going to say the KitchenAid mixes, but Mum bought that.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Mine. Definitely.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? My mother in law and the rest of Steven's family. They went above and beyond appalling behaviour.

14. Where did most of your money go? Bills and the wedding.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? My KitchenAid

16. What song/album will always remind you of 2006? Electrical Storm. I am so glad we went and chose our song for our wedding song.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner by a bit
iii. richer or poorer? Richer for the moment.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Relaxed and enjoyed myself. This was a suck ass year.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Stressing.

20. How did you spend Christmas? We hung out here at home and had dinner with Nicki.

22. Did you fall in love in 2006? Again and again.

23. How many one night stands in this last year? 14. Wait, does Steven count as a one night stand?

24. What was your favorite TV program?  Law & Order: SVU or Battlestar Galactica

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Yes.

26. What was the best book you read? Under A Black Flag

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? I didn't have time for musical discoveries.

28. What did you want and get? The wedding came off without too bad of a hitch.

29. What did you want and not get? I wanted to live in a better place.

30. What was your favorite film of this year? Pirates 2 for sure.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 25 and went out to dinner with Steven. 

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Shooting a couple of people.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? Jeans

34. What kept you sane? Ambien

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you like the most? Britney because she's such a trainwreck

36. What political issue stirred you the most? The vote this year.

37. Who did you miss? A few people.

38. Who was the best new person you met? I don't think I met anyone new, really.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006... Everything passes, good or bad.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year?  Not a song. "What do you hear, Starbuck?" "Nothing but the rain." "Good, grab your gun and bring the cat in."
