My lungs, ftw.

So the little cold I thought I had over the week-end? Had big aspirations. I started coughing more and more today and by the end of work, I could hardly breathe and was running a temp of 101*. I took some tylenol and figured I'd suck it up and take half a drawing class.
During dinner, I went from feeling "Eugh" to "Holy monkies, I am going to die in the next 15 minutes." I went up to art class and told the professor this and he pretty much said to go and not darken his doorstep again until I am not feverish.
Tyhpoid Mary, table for one?
I went from there to Health Services. I might as well take advantage of it, right? I went in, talked with the nurse for a couple minutes, she listened to my lungs, and gave me a choice: go to the ER or go to the walk-in clinic in Smithfield, but I needed to go somewhere tonight.
We chose Smithfield. They were just a copay.
I got to blow in the little breath thingy. I blew between 250 and 280 three times and it seems that is not so good. So I got a nebulizer treatment, a urine test (not pregnant/no UTI), and a chest xray (still have lungs/no TB). I came out with three scripts and I'm off work till at least Thursday night. Woot.
So tomorrow, I will be watching telly, cracked out on cough syrup, and doing some painting, I think. Sadly, this will be a nice chance to catch up on homework.
