Attempt #1 at posting more
Oct. 29th, 2007 08:58 pmI'm setting a goal of updating three times a week with a real entry-- no memes. Tentatively, I am going to update Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays whether I like it or not.
This week is sucktastic, too. Yesterday, I was trying to fix our intarwebz and tripped over Steven while trying to get into the kitchen. I tweaked the bad knee and it's still driving me nuts today. That kind of spoilt our plans to clean the whole place yesterday. Intarwebz are fixed though. Comcast apparently decided to restrict access to our account for some unknown reason. The usual reasons (recent move, recent disconnect, recent modem change) didn't apply to us and the only thing I could think of was that I had recently complained because they're trying to charge me a modem rental fee and we have our own modem.
Voicemail is still offline and I haven't cleared my cell phone voicemail out yet. We got our new phones: Samsung u740. They're nice, but I think the phone is smarter than I am. I assume I'll spent the week-end holed up, learning to use it. They only thing that really sucks is I lost all my ringtones and the photos I'd taken. I'm kind of miffed about that. I still don't like Verizon, though.
I'm so tired. I'm thinking about going to bed soon. I've been dragging all day, even though I didn't really do too much today. I assume tomorrow won't be too bad either, since everyone seems to have come down with a terrible case of Red Sox fever and have to stay home sick.
Obviously, I am not going to the rally. I probably won't get to get my free taco, either. Stupid Tuesday.
I think I need to go pick out my clothes for tomorrow and go to sleep. I've been staring at the cursor for 5 minutes now. Here's hoping there will be actually be news on tomorrow.
