Cookie recipe
Sep. 7th, 2006 12:07 amI made cookie dough tonight. Recipe, for the interested, is as follows:
2 1/2 c flour
1t baking soda
1/2t salt
2 sticks salted butter
1/2c white sugar
3/4c brown sugar
1t vanilla extract
2 eggs
chocolate chips of choice
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together. Place aside
Cream butter and sugars together. When mixed, add eggs and vanilla extract. Slowly add in dry mixture until dough forms. Chill and then bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
You could probably use a bit less butter, if you wanted. I prefer salted over unsalted because I find it gives the finished cookie, as well as the dough, a better flavour.
