I hate you, computer
Aug. 27th, 2005 04:51 pmI hate you, computer, I hate you good. You see, all day yesterday, the computer lied to me and told me it had, indeed, charged its batteries. Good, I thought. Problem solved. This morning, I went to turn the computer on and it promptly froze. I rebooted and it seemed ok. Things were good for a while, until I knocked the plug out. The computer shut off. It was not, as it said, charged, but lying to lull me into a false sense of security.
Fine. Turn back on. What's this? My personal settings cannot be loaded? All my files are missing? Grand!
I ultimately had to use system restore. I am not happy right now. This computer isn't even a year old yet! Why is this happening? Bah... So now, I have nasty heartburn from stressing about the evil computer, as well as jury duty, the test I have Monday, the test I have Wednesday, and getting registered, which I can't do until my credits get into the WISE system. Bah, indeed.
