Yay Party Pix!
Dec. 20th, 2004 05:53 pmWell, I've finally finished and uploaded all of the pictures from yesterday's soiree. The index took forever considering that there about 70 picture files. There are times when I wish that I had something to just create pages for me. The amount of coding was insane. Bah.
Anyhow.. The party was an amazing success. What's more amazing is that absolutely nothing went wrong. This is especially amazing considering that there were a couple of huge potential problems. For the most part, though, everyone just ignored my mother-in-law, who was being pissy and nasty to me and everyone put Steven's ex-wife out of their minds quickly when she showed up and made a fool out of herself by hovering in the door, refusing to come in, and generally being childish. Both could have been huge problems and, thankfully, they didn't spoil anyone's good time, except maybe the two involved.
Steven lit up the porch and it looked/looks amazing. Very Christmas-y. The apartment is totally clean, excepting our recently done laundry which is begging to be folded. I'm ignoring it. We have more food than anyone can possibly imagine leftover. Everyone who came was so awesome about bringing things and Sam was delighted with the going away end of things.
The pictures are posted here. If you want to check them out, leave a comment with your email and I'll get your the password or if you're friended, check the next entry for a URL repost and the necessary info.
