Happy Fourth!

Also known as happy two weeks till my birthday. It's been a semi-uneventful couple of weeks. Steven and I are still unpacking from the move. Steven's friend Alex came home from Iraq. We've done what feels like a million dishes because I don't know where the other set is, right now. We've also been barbecuing (does that look like it's spelled right?) a lot, since it's been a little too warm to cook in. The grill works very nicely, now that we finally have lava rocks, rather than charcoal in it. We still don't have DSL because Verizon is a tool of the devil and I'm still unemployed. Yay for layoffs. No prospects, either, because the job market sucks beyond words and all the college students already have jobs. Boo.

I need to take a shower, unload the dishwasher, and get ready to get going. We're going to Chinatown to meet with Leigh in celebration of the 4th. Most likely, we will barbecue some more tonight for dinner. Which reminds me... We need to get to the grocery store before it closes. Dammit.

Oh, and I got my birthday treat early. After dinner last night, Steven cooked me Bananas Foster. How incredibly sweet is that?
