Sick as a dog

So. goddamned. sick. My luck seems to have run out at the worst possible time. Thanks to Julie deciding she need more than two days off last week, I have the mother of all colds. I've literally been on death's doorstep since about mid-day Saturday. I threw up all night long Saturday night, and ultimately called in sick on Sunday. I need the money and all, but I thought I was going to die. I actually threw up once last night, as well, which is super unusual, since I never get stomach bugs. I haven't had once since I was in elementary school.

Ha, and Julie got reamed by the owner for not coming in. She had to go in and work last night. Serves her fucking right.

Anyhow, finals are finito. I have no clue how I did, since I was so sick. I did get an 86 on my english one and an 88 on my 10+ page psych paper. I was very happy.

I also went to the doctor's this afternoon and it was confirmed that I do not have the flu, just the mother of all colds. I'm not contagious (yay!) and this should be nearing the end of being unwell. I should be better in time for Christmas.

This makes no sense because I have super cough syrup with codiene.

Oh, and this is why my boyfriend's the best: I asked him to pick me up more chicken noodle soup and he got me DINOSAUR NOODLES! Yay!
