Cleaning & Paris
Dec. 1st, 2002 12:51 amHappy December! I'm starting out the new month by cleaning out my bedroom. Right now, I'm taking a quick break to have my second cup of tea for the day. I should consider eating something as well; my stomach is starting to get cranky with me.
Score! Leftover chinese!
I haven't cleaned my room since right before Matt was fired. It was way too hectic for those 20-odd days after. Still working out the details on my last paycheque. I think we're going to the A.G.'s office tomorrow (is tomorrow Monday? I can't remember what the hell day today is...) after we mail the required letters to Hatworld. At least my tax returns will be great this year. I'm thinking of using the money to take a vacation overseas. I want to go back to Paris in ways you wouldn't believe. It's funny to think I became so attached to a place I spent only one week in, five years past. More ironic still: I get more homesick for Paris than I do for Vermont. I'm hoping to shoot for August. There shouldn't be as many tourists and the city should be quiet since that's prime time to go to the Riviera. I need to work out the details, though... how long I want to stay, where I want to go, what kind of transportation do I want. I also need to get my passport renewed/updated since I've changed my last name. A new picture might be nice, as well, since I look nothing like my old one. I'll start planning a lot more seriously after April and my next CT scan.
I need to get back to cleaning. I'm expecting Steve within the next 45 or so minutes and I should be a little more ready than I am. Rather, I should have a little more cleaning done than I do now.
