What is in a name?

It really makes you wonder about how much of the name analysis and natal charts and whatnot are really accurate. I suppose it's fairly easy to consider that the stars and planets might have some kind of influence over us, if you start considering the ocean and its tides. Obviously, they must have some sphere of control.
Of course, then again, if you really want to believe something, your mind will associate enough coincidence with fact to convince itself that its reading the truth.
Shame we only use around 10% of the damned things.
Before I wandered off on that tangent, I was actually thinking about how I really am starting to like my first name (not like it took 20 years or anything.) When I was younger, I always felt that I should have been a Victoria. I still think that Tori would have been a much better nickname for me than Sam. Mmph.
I'm still not too fond of my nickname, which is, ironically, what everyone except for literally five people call me. I mean, I like my given name and if my mom had really wanted a Sam, she should have named me that. It sort of like my grandmother. Everyone calls her Lee and her name is Anne Leona.
Yea, well, I'm done now and I need get dressed and start thinking about getting ready for my three hours of work and getting some kind of lunch into me.
Blah.
