It sure is Thursday
Nov. 2nd, 2001 12:17 pmI have a really gross sore on the inside of my lower jaw, on the right side. I'm actually kind of concerned about this, seeing as this isn't the first time I've had one of these. I've been getting them since I had my wisdom teeth out two years ago. I fully well realise that I should go and see the dentist, but this is a fully terrifying prospect when you consider that novacaine doesn't do jack for me.
Think of that, having your mouth shot full of novacaine that doesn't work and then, on top of that, having your teeth drilled.
I had this same issue when I had to have something burnt off my finger with liquid nitrogen. I mean, the guy put a lot of novacaine into it and all, but it still really effing hurt. Liquid nitrogen is some exceedingly painful stuff.
And my mother wonders why I won't go to the dentist.

So.. uhm.. yea... I worked tonight. It was really, really quiet. As far as retail work goes, my job isn't bad, but it's still retail. At least, we've had fairly sane customers the last couple of days. Last Friday, we had the insane flag lady in. I guess flags are non-taxable (not that I understand why) and this woman had a haemorage over the 90ยข, additional.
It makes you wonder where exactly this good, patriotic woman though the $2.99 she paid for each flag went. Seriously, be glad at least some money is going to the government.
Bleh. I'm going to make potatoes.
