They originally started looking for leukemia, because my blood chemistry was completely out of whack. They never did figure out why, it somewhat righted itself, though it still tests abnormal whenever I get draws.

What they did find is about half a dozen little nodules (all under 1cm) in one of my lungs. They've been monitoring them for the last few years and I guess are satisfied that they aren't going to metasticise. I'm taking the least invasive route, since they aren't growing. I'm onto my 3rd oncologist now. The first one was ready to essentially remove part of my lung and put me on preventative chemo for a precancerous condition, the second one essentially told me that, although they were there, I was a hypochondriac because no one gets lung cancer at 21, and the one I'm with now has been monitoring it with biannual CT scans and appointments.
