Don't I know it? The last time I had surgery was at 7:30am and they told me no food or drink after midnight. Even my doctor thought they were being insane. He said 5 or 6 hours before is plenty to let your stomach empty out. So, this guy is either a quack or a stickler, but either way, he's a jerk.
