I went and bought olives today. Bread & Circus had a special on these huge green olives with lemon and garlic. I had one as a sample the other day and damn... I've been craving them ever since.

The flaw in this logic is that I HATE olives. Passionately. Fervently. My mum swears I liked them as a kid, but I don't remember it. I've always hated their taste though. I haven't even been able to eat things with them in it for years. They made me gag something wicked. But no, now, when pretty much everything under the sun has made me nauseous, what do I crave? Goddamn olives. I will say at least they're quality olives.

Of course, they still conceptually gross me out. I was making the face the whole time I was eating them.

I ended up going to Great Hill today and shot a few hundred photos, so it looks like I'll weed through them tomorrow. My 55-200mm lens is fucked up, though. I can focus it manually, which is fine, but on auto, it only focuses at 55mm. Otherwise it makes sounds like it was focusing, but it doesn't and will not take photos either. And while it's not a thousand dollar lens, it's probably a good $250 one. I'm going to bring it over to have Bruce look at it next week.

I managed to find episode 10 on youtube. (in 4 parts) It was the end often prophesied for the end of the series. Part of me wondered if they'd just gotten unlucky and landed too close to Chernobyl. It did look a bit like Ukraine.
I was suprised that Tigh didn't confess at the begining of season 4. I'm glad the 4 are revealed.
I've often said that anything that can't be distinguished from a human by and x-ray and a blood test is, in fact, a human. The best skinjob theory I've seen is that they're humans with nanites that allow them to download. Colonial Medicine must really suck!
If they had Spaced Tigh, the cylons could have rescued him. (provided the colonials didn't shoot every ship or centurnian that came near him in space)

I'm glad this isn't the end of the series. I thought Voyager ended a year before is should have. And BSG is many things Voyager should have been.

I would be really pissed if this were the end of the series. I was sitting on my sofa, wtfing at the telly. My husband seemed to think that it looked a bit like a bombed out New York.

Re: Colonial medicine, the best theory I've seen is that Cottle is the final cylon. He'd be in a position to cover up the other 4. And wouldn't a room full of Cottles be the greatest thing ever?

I concur. Voyager did end too early. I think that people never gave it, or Enterprise, a chance after the first episodes.

So.... any clues as to why you are craving olives? I've been thinking about you and all of this.

I have no idea. I go through phases of weird cravings, so it's not exactly unusual, except that I've hated olives for years. Before this, I was on a yoghurt kick.

I imagine it's probably some kind of vitamin deficiency, honestly. I have incredibly bad eating habits.

Okay, I read the olive story and thought OMFG PREGO... then though, well no, IUD, etc. Then I kept reading my FL and saw the post about failing a pregnancy test, etc, and freaked out more. hahaha. <3

Omg, I know. I was freaking out all day Friday, but apparently I'm craving them because I'm just deficient or something.

They are really delicious, though.
