Ok, do people actually take a drive to Plymouth Rock on Thanksgiving? Seriously? Television was just talking about it, but I'm hoping it's lying.

...have I just missed this tradition in all the time I've been here?

Indeed, especially since they landed in PTown first because they ran out of beer. Like me. I have no beer.

Nothing to do with this, but when I was in high school, my hoodlum friends and I hopped the fence so we could stand on it.

LOL, were you watching "New England Thanksgiving" on the travel channel? I caught it for like a minute and told Brian "New England looks nice, we'll have to go there sometime." He told me we could only hope to save up enough money to go visit someday. We're dorks, I know.

Haha, that's awesome. No, this was on Channel 7 News, while I was avoiding making food. I'd seriously never heard of this.

the rock is fake?

Yep, it is. The Pilgrims actually landed in Provincetown on the very tip of the Cape because they ran out of beer. They were originally heading to Jamestown.

Stupid pilgrims, neener.

I'm related to some of those damn uppity lushes. Actually, that probably explains why we've never done the whole Plymouth Rock thing right there.
