Make-up!
Since my wedding is quickly approaching, it's occured to me that I need to obtain and learn to use make effectively. I'm asking you, O Mighty FList, what would you recommend: brands, products, tips, pictures, and website. I will be eternally greatful. I'm going for kind of a 40s/glam look, if that helps.
I am very grateful in advance.

I have sensitive skin, so this helps. I also hate foundation, and I like the natural glow look. I bought my "starter" kid three years ago. I've yet to run out. It takes me three minutes to apply.

I bought my kit three years ago. It came with the base colour, the blush colour, and the mineral veil which makes me look sparkly. It came with one brush. I still use the same kit, I just bought more brushes to help me out (like a smaller blush so I could use the base to hide my cat scratch scar on my forehead). My make-up routine is now like this: lotion, base, glow, mineral veil, lips gloss, lipstick, eyebrow colour. Done. 5-6 minutes tops. If I'm feeling more anal, it won't take me more than 10 minutes to do my make-up. My face feels like it's not oily when I wear it, and I don't get the weird cake lines when I smile because it's a very thin layer of colour. I don't break out. And, if I'm too tired to wash up, I'm not worried about falling asleep with make-up on. Definitely try it out. The starter kit comes with a video and explains stuff. Here's a pic of our engagement photoshoot. Can't see the scar. :) None of the pics were altared.
Most importantly, some of the blemishes (like a mole or something) still come through, which I like because it doesn't make me look like a doll. It makes me look human.

I think I may end up trying this. I'm all about make-up I could get away with not washing off and it sounds like it's really good for sensitive skin.
