I'm not returning to school this semester. I owe them $1600 and I can't register until I pay it off. Classes started today. I don't have the credit for credit based loans because of my ex. Even if I were to pay this off and go back, I'd owe another $1600 plus books for the semester. I sent an email to the head of advising, who might be able to help, but that's not likely, honestly.

I'm kind of depressed about the whole thing. We're going to have a talk about what we want to do and where we go from here when I feel a little better.

I'm sorry you aren't able to go back to school this semester. That really sucks. College is just way too expensive.

It's awful that the government won't cover tuition. I'm going to a state college. It's not that much a semester.

thats me too. we cant afford to both go to school, so i dropped out for awhile. ill return when we can afford it. it feels like crap though.

its really really hard to get a job here. Only fast food and telemarketing. I cant stand most days, so im looking for a job to sit. I did real estate for 2.5 yrs. So i have PLENTY of expierance, and yet there are no jobs. its so unnerving.
But meanwhile i do the housewife thing. which is respectable!:)

That's what I'm doing right now and probably for the next six months, as long as we can afford it.

Of course, since I don't cook and can't really clean right now, it's not saying much.

I can remember how frustrating it was for me to get bursars block.

However, I had an advantage of better credit. The loans are biting me on the ass, but yeah.

I wish I knew what to suggest.

I'd like to throw something heavy at my ex, but in all likelihood, that would only make me feel better for a little bit.
