Piece one of the Wedding outfit comes home
May I introduce my bridal circlet, worn by my great-great grandmother Nelly for her wedding 125 years ago? It was bought for her in the South Seas by my great-great grandfather Albert so that she would have both something to wear and something to carry for the wedding, since he, as a sea captain, was not rich.
EDIT: I hould mention the entire headpiece is made out of shells from the South Sea, not from flowers.

The circlet, my ring, and a note in Nelly's handwriting

I'm so glad it's still in really good shape. I was so freaked out when I was fixing it up before those photos. I kept thinking I was going break it or it was going to disintergrate in my hands or something.
Family heirlooms are awesome ^.^
