Getting there. My mom used to make ghetto pickles with cucumber, white wine or apple cider vinegar, and fresh dill. I'm totally craving those now.

May I recommend cucumbers dipped in soy sauce? I also love to marinate cucumber slices in white vinegar and sugar. MMMMMMM

All the ghetto pickle recipes are coming out! Cucumbers dipped in soy sauce are awesome, but alas, I couldn't find our bottle. This was closer to me than the malt vinegar.

It really fixed my salt craving, though.
