La, la, la.. I should be cleaning the kitchen. I'm not; I'm eating chicken noodle soup for lunch after showering because the kitchen is such an awful, hellish mess. I also totally lost my ambition because of work. So, right, not like I was there Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, but my managed wanted to know if I could please pick up Thursday, Friday, and Sunday this week. Uhm, no?
I realise it's not Evil Julie's fault that the new girl has, from what I've been told, everything from the bubonic plague to leprosy, but why should I have to suffer for this? The manager's the one supposed to cover when shit like this happens. I know this; I was management. So, being the wonderful (read: broke) person I am, I told Julie that, although I cannot work Sunday and Friday night, I can work Thursday and Friday day. Wasn't good enough for her. I also will be working Mondays for at least the next two weeks. Well, not on Groundhog's Day, because I had plans to go out already, but you get the general picture. I also told her that, generally, I could cover the 5 weekdays, as long as I got week-ends off. I think I'm being more than reasonable.
So after lunch, I really am going to try to get some cleaning done. Cara's coming over for a while, mostly for coffee. She had orginally wanted me to go out to lunch with her, but I just don't have the cash. I dread to think of what my bank account looks like until tomorrow. I still have a hundred dollar cheque I need to cash, but I just haven't gotten a chance to get to the bank.
I want to bake brownies in the worst possible way. I don't even really like brownies. I just have this want to bake recently.
Yet another survey... I'm off to clean.
