My parents gave me a Hello Kitty waffle iron for Christmas. My husband gave me the toaster for Christmas last year and we both think it makes the best toast ever.

Shoot. Now I need to think of a new appliance.

Aren't the waffles darling?

I stayed at the Mountain Top Inn, I think it's called, on the way up to Burlington (a very non-direct way, on purpose) with the boyfriend who ended up being gay. So, stupid trip. But, lovely town! I can't believe you grew up there, did you love it?

I've been to Mountain Top a million times. I used to take horseback riding lessons there when I was a kid. I attended the one school in town and lived on Power House Rd., which is the other main road in town. I still know a bunch of people who work at the Wooden Barrell, the little store next to the school. Too funny!!

I loved living there as a little kid, but it got boring when I was older. I moved away when my parents split at 16.

I love going back and visiting now, though. I actually had my engagement photos taken at the dam you can see from Mountain Top.
