Unofficial Official Proposal
And it happened on Groundhog's Day.
I said something completely inane and braindead to Steven, so I stuck out my hand and said "Hi. I'm Samantha, I'm your girlfriend." He shook my hand and said "You look nice. Wanna get married?" I, of course, replied "Sure!"
About 5 minutes later, I asked him if that counted as a proposal (since we all know Steven hadn't yet proposed, we had decided to get married and start planning). He said he supposed it did count as an unofficial official proposal of marriage. How's that for a story to tell the kids?
