Goddammit
I heard this kind of dripping/crackling sound from behind the tree and went to check it out. It kind of sounded like pine needles dropping on the holographic paper I have some of the presents wrapped in, right? So I went over, got down to look and I see nothing falling. I then look at the wall and see wet lines. So I think, great.. The tree is running sap. Then it occurs to me that we've had the tree a week, it's drying out, and there's been no sap problem since the second day. Then, I look up. There is water running down my wall, from the apartment above. Literally, I can see rivulets. I am not fucking pleased.
Couple that with the fact that the lady across the hall may indeed have died in her apartment, as she hasn't been out of her apartment or checked her mail in a week, and I'm wishing Steven and I could have afforded to buy a house. Ugh.
Now, I'm sitting around waiting on maintenance. Bah.
